[Review] Sakura Dungeon (by YouNa)

[Review] Sakura Dungeon (by YouNa)

The Sakura series produced by Winged Cloud may be the first to introduce this genre of game to Steam. Sakura Dungeon is probably the most popular among their games. If you like this genre, you probably have already heard of this game. If you're unfamiliar, I'd like to offer more insight into what kind of game this is.

Sakura Dungeon is a first-person dungeon crawling RPG taking place in a fantasy world. This game, like the play style of GalZoo Island created by AliceSoft, allows you to capture monsters and bring them to your side. And if you haven't played this kind of game, it'll probably be a fresh experience for you. Just give it a shot and you'll see how much fun it is!

In this game you play as Yomi, who is an ancient fox spirit. She woke up after several hundred years of deep sleep. However, while she was in her slumber her dungeon was taken over. This marks the beginning of your new adventure. You will capture monster girls, collect loot, and reclaim what is rightfully yours.

There are 3 levels of difficulty in the game, so you can choose one that suits your taste. Additionally, there are also events that can triggered in certain conditions and you can upgrade items with the gold you have earned. If you familiar with RPGs, this game's interface will be easy to pick up. If you're new to the genre, trying these kind of games might be a fun experience. Veterans and newcomers should all give this game a chance!
